Maintenance
A HY-TECH DRILL DOESN'T BREAK DOWN. IT BREAKS GROUND.
In the field, we make it a habit to ship our drills with two of virtually every part to prevent costly downtime. Field mechanics are present on most multi-drill jobs, with several other crew members trained to service our drills on the spot. This keeps our average downtime below 1%, and it’s yet another reason why Hy-Tech’s clients trust our cost-per-metre estimates more than most.
While demobilizing the drill, the on-site crew provide detailed information on the operating performance and concerns they have with each piece of equipment so that maintenance teams have access to this critical data when it returns to the shop. With a team of highly qualified mechanics, our drills are always in expert hands. Equipment returning to the shop is put through a very thorough maintenance process, with every piece treated as though it needs a full rebuild and put through the paces to prove if it doesn’t. With our extraordinary level of maintenance, we’re basically shipping a new drill to every job – repaired, tested and ready for work.
We are very, very pleased with literally every aspect of the company. Good production. 100% on the equipment. The foremen have been outstanding. They do whatever it takes! Now we are big on safety. They are too. Everyone is on the same page. There’s no downtime. Very efficient.
