Chairman

Harvey Tremblay

Harvey Tremblay is the Chairman and founder of Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd. and past director of both the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association and the Association for Mineral Exploration BC.

Entering the mining industry after several years in construction, he climbed his way up from service work at drill sites, to exploration services, to working as both a Driller and a Foreman. Launching Hy-Tech in 1991, he has grown the company from a single drill operation to an impressive fleet of drills operating throughout Canada, USA, Europe, and South America.

President

Dwayne Ross

Dwayne Ross has over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration and drilling and leads Hy-Tech Drilling as President. Appointed in 2025, he oversees a multi-region organization operating across Canada, the United States, Europe, and South America, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and values-based growth. He is also President of the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association (CDDA), a role he has held since 2019.

Dwayne brings a deep, practical understanding of the industry’s complexities. Having progressed through a broad range of operational and leadership roles since joining Hy-Tech in 2002, his diverse career path provides a holistic view of both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. This experience supports informed leadership, steady execution, and dependable outcomes for clients, teams, and partners.

Chief Financial Officer

Jerod Ayres, CPA, CA, CFA

Jerod Ayres brings deep financial expertise, a sharp analytical mindset, and a collaborative approach to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Hy-Tech Drilling.

With a strong foundation in financial strategy, risk management, and performance analysis, he plays a key role in driving sustainable growth and operational excellence across the organization. Jerod’s ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights supports effective decision-making and long-term planning, making him an integral part of Hy-Tech’s leadership team.

VP Client Support & Engagement

Bill Krasnozon

Bill Krasnozon joined Hy-Tech in February of 2021 as the Underground Operations Manager for the expansion of the underground coring across Canada, and in 2022 was promoted to VP Operations, and in 2024 transitioned to his current role of VP Client Support & Engagement. He has been in the Diamond Drilling Industry for over 40 years, starting out as a Driller’s Helper after graduating from Sir Sandford Fleming College with a Diploma in the Resource Drilling Program.

Bill worked his way up from the position of Driller’s Helper to being the Regional Director of a Global Drilling Company, gaining extensive underground and surface knowledge and leadership experience both in Canada and Internationally on specialty drilling projects.

VP Business Development

Marco Garrido

Marco Garrido brings more than 20 years of international experience in drilling operations and large-scale commercial environments. Originally from Mexico City, he has led regional growth initiatives across Latin America and holds a degree in public accounting from Universidad Anáhuac.

As VP Business Development, Marco applies his deep regional insight and balanced operations–sales background to strengthen Hy-Tech’s presence in the Americas. His strategic approach, commercial discipline, and focus on long-term partnerships support our commitment to delivering reliable, proactive, and value-creating drilling solutions.

Vice President People

Coby de Vries, CPHR

Coby de Vries joined Hy-Tech Drilling in 2012 as an HR Coordinator and advanced to the role of HR Manager prior to her current position of Vice President People. She oversees the HR, EHS and Training departments, ensuring that Hy-Tech's people are safe, well-supported and skilled. Coby holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a focus on Psychology, a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation.

Coby brings over 10 years of experience and is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work culture that fosters employee engagement, development and retention.

Vice President Operations – North America

Jason Comeau

With over two decades of experience in the drilling industry, Jason Comeau has cultivated deep expertise in field operations and leadership. Since joining Hy-Tech in 2004, his hands-on approach and unwavering dedication to operational excellence have played a key role in the success of both surface and underground drilling projects.

Formerly serving as Field Operations Manager, Jason now leads North American operations, driving efficiency and performance across all projects while upholding Hy-Tech’s core values of safety, innovation, and top-tier service delivery.
