The Legacy Tags honour former members of the Hy-Tech family by attaching commemorative tags to pieces of equipment working in the field. Each tag serves as a lasting tribute to the people whose dedication, character, mentorship, and friendships helped shape our crews and company. As the equipment continues moving from project to project, their stories continue to live on in the field, reminding us that the strength of Hy-Tech has always come from its people.
Ben “Benny” Thomson will be remembered as a valued member of the Hy-Tech family, known for his kindness, dedication, sense of humour, and genuine friendship.
Those who worked alongside Benny will remember his steady presence, his willingness to support others, and the laughter he brought to every crew he was part of. He had a way of lifting spirits, making long days lighter, and building meaningful connections that extended well beyond the job.
Benny’s kindness, dedication, friendship, and sense of humour will never be forgotten. His commemorative tag will be placed on Drill S-059, a tribute to the impact he had on the people who had the privilege of working alongside him.
