Hy-Tech’s journey in Portugal began in 2006, when a long-term Canadian client expanded exploration into Europe and invited us to join them, marking the start of our international growth. Nearly two decades later, Portugal remains a cornerstone of our global footprint, where we’ve built a strong reputation for dependability, safety, and performance, supporting programs that have advanced from early-stage exploration into active production through careful planning, collaboration, and respect for local environments across the Iberian Pyrite Belt.
Many of our Castro Verde team members are local hires who’ve built long-term careers with Hy-Tech. We support local suppliers and give back through initiatives like youth sports, cultural programs, volunteer firefighters, and food baskets for families in need.
