Hy-Tech signs agreement to complete acquisition of Griffith Drilling

Hy-Tech Drilling strengthens its position in South America

Hy-Tech Drilling is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to complete the acquisition of Griffith Drilling, marking an important step in strengthening our presence and capabilities in South America.

This agreement builds on the strong foundation established through the Hy-Tech Griffith joint venture, which has operated successfully over the past four years. That collaboration has created strong alignment between teams, systems, and safety practices, helping ensure a seamless transition for our clients and crews as we move forward together.

As part of this next chapter, we have also completed our legal name change in both Chile and Argentina. The business will now operate as Hy-Tech Drilling Chile and Hy-Tech Drilling Argentina, reinforcing a unified brand and consistent presence across the region.

The addition of Griffith Drilling further enhances our ability to deliver safe, reliable, and technically strong drilling solutions in Chile and across South America.

Welcoming Pamela Aravena Vitali, General Manager Chile

In support of this growth, we are pleased to welcome Pamela Aravena Vitali as General Manager, Chile.

A geologist by training, Pamela brings strong leadership experience across Chile’s mining and exploration sector, with a focus on operational excellence, stakeholder relationships, and guiding teams through growth and change. In her role, she will lead our Chilean operations, strengthen client partnerships, and ensure the consistent delivery of safe, efficient, and technically excellent drilling services.

Pamela will join the Hy-Tech team at PDAC 2026, where she looks forward to connecting with clients, partners, and industry peers.

We are excited about this next chapter for Hy-Tech in Chile and South America and look forward to continuing to build on the strong relationships already in place.
